Chase Degraffenried, Men's Basketball - Green River

 Degraffenried wins his second-straight player of the week award and third of the season as he had an even more impressive week for the Gators, leading them to wins of 82-69 at Tacoma and 97-75 at Pierce. The sophomore averaged 35 points in the two wins to go along with 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals. Against Tacoma, Degraffenried dropped 36 points, shooting 12-for-20 from the floor and 7-for-13 from beyond the arc. He followed up with 34 more points at Pierce, shooting 13-for-21 from the field and 5-for-10 on threes. Overall, he shot 61 percent from the floor. He added two total blocks and averaged 36.5 minutes per game.

"Chase impacted the game across the board with assists, steals, and blocks," said head coach Godfrey Drake. "He also took great care of the ball with a 4-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. He’s playing winning basketball on both ends, and that’s why he’s deserving of NWAC Athlete of the Week."
