Spanier was dominant on the mound in a 7-1 victory over Columbia Basin last week. The sophomore threw eight shutout innings, allowing only one hit and one walk with five strikeouts. Spanier took a no-hitter into the eighth inning with the only hit coming on a bunt to start the inning. He needed just 71 pitches to complete eight innings, picking up the victory for the Red Devils.
