McCormack had a dominant start to lead Mt. Hood 7-0 over Southwestern Oregon. The sophomore right-hander threw a one-hit shutout, going the distance in the nine inning game. McCormack allowed just three base runners with two walks and the one hit while striking out five batters. He took a no-hitter into the bottom of the eighth inning.
